Grounding systems are connected with inner / outer lightning arrester and electrical installation in a building. Potential equalisation guarantees the protection against electric shock of people or animals. Here coordination between grounding and - system of installations with distributor, general electrical installation and low-voltage installation becomes important.
Lightning- and overvoltage arresters are attached also to grounding system.
